When is enough really enough?

I am so sick of looking around and seeing girls wearing less and less clothing and more and more make up. When will it really be enough? Is it to somehow justify the definition of what is beautiful in their own minds? Do they think that it's some kind of improvement? What happened to natural beauty? It's so frustrating to me that these girls honestly think they need to wear a lot of make up to be pretty. It's a forced thought from the media. Celebrities pushing this image that 'thin is in' and that it's okay to starve yourself to be a size 2. They show girls that wearing revealing clothes will get you attention. That may be true but I don't think they realize that it isn't exactly the type of attention they want. When people see a girl in a short skirt and a tight shirt, their first incentive to approach her is not going to be her nice shoes...

And the make up! Dear God, the make up. It is disgusting to me that there are girls who I would think are 2 different people by seeing them with & without make up. You don't have to paint your face on with a butter knife to be beautiful. There's nothing wrong with make up. I personally love it, BUT in moderation. Wear it to highlight your features; not hide them. Don't use it as a security blanket. You want people to see you, not the lipstick.

I just think that the definition of beauty has been muddled by Hollywood's need for attention.
